♫ Started as a backing vocalist for Teboho and his Assistance. Thuso Maboea initiated his new journey of worshipping and spreading Gods word through singing Gospel.
♫ After an impressive singing performance done by him at Phuthaditjhaba Macufe auditions, organizers were highly excited to such that he was invited to partake at Macufe annual events in Bloemfontein. He was then given an opportunity to show his Gospel singing talent which ended him up sharing stages with well-known artists such as S’fiso Ncwane, Rebecca Malope, Vuyo Mokoena and other gospel singers at Mangaung Cultural Festival (Macufe) in 2005.
♫ Thuso Maboea’s talent has exposed him in such a way that he started his TPM Music production company. He then furthered his music career at MB Studios where he recorded his second album called Mmusong wa Dira in 2011. Thuso Maboea has composed 5 songs for his first album called “Amahlathi” and has played a consequential role during recording sessions as well as in its promotion.
♫ He became so powerful to such an extent that Teboho & Assistance featured him in their own album called Morena re hauhele where in some of the songs of Morena re hauhele’s album, Teboho and Thuso were singing a duet and even sharing the stages together during live performances. On noticing the delay regarding the release of his own completed album which was recorded at MB Studios, Thuso preferred to proceed and further his music career by joining Mecdot Productions which deals with music production, video production, Website development as well as 3d Animations for Films and Motion Pictures. At Mecdot, Thuso was allowed to spring his wings of experience in his own new video called Thixo Bawo produced at Mecdot Production.
♫ Thuso’s album is been designed with a full analysis of understanding the music needs of South Africans at this particular moment. It fully accommodates Gospel followers. The album is been tasted for the community responses in some of the Community radio stations and some of live shows especially in Free state province and Mpumalanga province. Listeners and Critics were fully impressed confirming that it does deliver as per God intentions and exceptionally rocks in addition. Really indeed it has shown the readiness of generating explicitly high revenues.
♫ Mecdot Productions has already made one powerfull music video for Thuso’s album which is in Full HD. A thorough investigation and consideration was applied in designing the story lines of this music video to achieve marketing functional needs which is intended to ensure an “eye catch” at once. This was achieved by involving one of the Advertising expects of an “eye catch” which is Ad Space Adverting agency. This music video has been captured using Sony HD technology and professionally edited with a combination of Autodest 3d Studio Max, Combustion and Final Cut.
